Former Truro City manager Steve Massey says he is interested in taking over the financially stricken club.
Truro's players are set to quit if no buyer is found.
"I want to try to help as much as possible to make sure Truro City are still playing at Treyew Road and at the standard it's reached in the last few seasons," Massey told BBC Cornwall.
He says he will not enter a deal alone and wants other investors with him.
"I've asked the administrators who these other interested parties are so we can get together and save the football club," he said.
"It's moving slowly, it is frustrating, but I won't go it alone. That's a weakness that has been proven this season."

Massey, who was in charge of Truro from 2004 to 2006, says he would be happy to put money in to the club in the short term to help pay the wages and expenses of the team if he felt he could get a deal started.
But for that to happen he says there must talks over the ownership of the club's Treyew Road ground, which is currently owned by JoJo Investco Limited.
