Morecambe and Burton Albion played out a drab goalless draw in League Two.
Shrimps striker Lewis Alessandra had the best opportunities, but he sent one fizzing over the bar from the edge of the area and lobbed another over the top when through on goal.
Jacques Maghoma had the visitors' only shot on target, and it was turned away by Andreas Arestidou.
The hosts finished the game on top but both Jack Redshaw and Andy Fleming fired well wide from good positions.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Morecambe manager Jim Bentley told BBC Radio Lancashire:
"The performance was very good, we couldn't do much more.
"We were nice and disciplined, limited them to very little - we were hard-working, put our foot in when we had to and everyone gave it their all.
"We started both halves off very well and worked some good opening for the forward three.
"Unfortunately, we just didn't put the ball in the back of the net."
Burton Albion manager Gary Rowett told BBC Radio Derby:
"It was a fairly dull game but, at the end of the day, that's two really difficult away trips and we've ended up with four points and two clean sheets.
"It wasn't particularly great to watch at times but sometimes away from home you've got to do that and it's two fantastic results in the end.
"Morecambe put us under a lot of pressure but we blocked balls on the outside of the box and we've been really brave and that's one thing this team will do; they'll give you everything they've got every single game."
