#101Slight difference between the clubs at the moment.1. Swansea in PL.2. "Swansea City is set to confirm a profit of £14.6million following their debut campaign in the Barclays Premier League."3. Swansea have a very good stadium. (Unlike Fratton). To my knowledge, Swansea pay taxes and aren't hounded by HMRC.
#102Perhaps you should read the exchanges between myself and Irregular_contributor.
97. who_dat The Company, with its "good crop" of current Directors still carry the can.===But that's exactly what is happening, so I don't see what point you're making.PFC *is* carrying the can - that's why we're in administration with a squad of youngsters, trialists, and loanees - but that's very different from saying PFC (in it's current form) was to blame for the problem.
As previously mentioned Swansea are doing well under their Trust so can't see why Pompey can't dojust as well. At least the PST wont rape and pillage a great club, not like the previous halfwits who new nothing about the passion of a football club in any shape or form. Chanrai should be deported immediately. PUP
Just read Micah Hall . Chanrai & Gydamak should go to prison for what they have done to Pompey. Just another bunch of crooks asset stripping.
Irregular_contributor Dear Mystic Meg,Go on, shock me, who do I support?Big kiss to the football club half of Hampshire about to go bust. Why not sell that trophy to help you out, you may get 50p, enough to buy the club.
who_datYou don't need to answer my question about who you support.Your jealousy-oozing, trophyless messages are all the evidence I need....!Big kiss from the trophy half of Hampshire.
#96"you" = Pompey. As I've already said, the fans were happy to get high profile players, players they couldn't afford. The current regime aren't to blame, so what.If a Company goes bust because of the wrong doing of past Directors etc, it doesn't matter. The Company, with its "good crop" of current Directors still carry the can.
89. who_dat it's your club that is to blame. You bought players you couldn't afford===It's this bit we don't get. Who do you mean by 'you'? The fans? We didn't buy anyone. The previous regimes (owner, board, mangers, whoever) were responsible for piling up the debts, but they've all left. The current crop can't be blamed. So who exactly are you blaming when you say 'you'?
Brilliant news. Trust has played a major part in the resurgence of Swansea City. Good luck to them.
It's about time Trevor Birch made a positive move. Pompey need stability and the PST are the right choice. PUP
About time they had some owners who care about the club
@88 so the fans are responsible for all the clubs debts, look at the poor football creditors rule. Fact the fans paid the charities because they were embarrassed by the clubs owners. PUP
Good club Pompey not well run obviously! But cracking set of fans best in England in my opinion make loads no noise everywhere they go! Keep the faith Pompey fans hope to see you back in the prem soon! An keep up the fantastic support! Respect from man city
