Hinckley United hit by transfer embargo
Cash-strapped Hinckley United have been placed under a transfer embargo by the Football Conference over unpaid wages to their players.
The Knitters must find £6,000 of the money they owe to past and present staff to come out of their embargo but are confident their future is secure.
The Blue Square Bet North club are currently without a manager following the resignation of Dean Thomas.
Thomas stood down last week after almost 16 years with the club.
Hinckley have a home match against Colwyn Bay on Saturday.
