Plymouth Argyle midfielder Jamie Lowry is ready to make an impact as he prepares for his first league start after recovering from an ankle injury.

"Hopefully I can crack on now and get a few league games under my belt," Lowry told BBC Radio Devon.

He admitted it had been hard watching his new teammates from the sidelines.
"Coming to a new club and getting to know the lads and being involved in a few pre-season friendlies, and then having the ankle injury has been tough," he said.
"But I'd like to think I've worked hard and have come back quicker than expected.
"I was delighted to get a little taste of it on Tuesday night."
