Josh McQuoid's brace helped Bournemouth to a comfortable victory over League Two side Dagenham and Redbridge.
He opened the scoring firing home Lewis Grabban's pass, before Marc Pugh doubled the lead, finding the bottom corner from inside the area.
The Northern Irish striker scored his second, volleying home Simon Francis's cross into the top left corner.
Wes Fogden then rounded off the scoring from the edge of the box, his first goal of the season.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe told BBC Radio Solent:
"We probably could have scored more in the second half, we looked like a really, really good side going forward, some of our attacking play was excellent.
"Our strikers all looked a threat so it was great to score four goals and keep a clean sheet."
On Wes Thomas' absence Howe added:
"He just picked up a hamstring strain during the week, his first day back in training he just picked up a little tweak so hopefully he won't be out too long."
