Brentford ended the FA Cup hopes of Blue Square Bet South Boreham Wood with a comfortable win at Meadow Park.
Despite a bright start the Wood went behind to Clayton Donaldson's fine individual effort after 16 minutes.
Former Arsenal youngster Omer Riza hit the side-netting and the bar before he gave away the ball which led to Harry Forrester's 44rd-minute decider.
Clayton Donaldson hit the post and Adam Forshaw also went close for Brentford in the second half.

Brentford manager Uwe Rosler told BBC London 94.9:
"I was happy with the first half, especially our offensive play. I think we created a number of chances.
"We maybe had a chance to score even more goals than two.
"On the other hand, I have to be realistic and fair and I think they created chances as well.
"All credit to their team. In the first half, they caused us some problems but I'm delighted with the way we played in the second half."
