Greig Spence's 90th-minute equaliser earned 10-man Raith Rovers a Scottish Cup third round replay against Airdrie following a draw at the Excelsior Stadium.
Raith had the lead in the 13th minute as Brian Graham's header was volleyed home by Simon Mensing from just inside the area.
However Airdrie were level 15 minutes later as Gavin Griffin hit a firm shot from the left of the area which keeper Ross Laidlaw could not get down to.
Graham was then given his marching orders for an off-the-ball incident just after the re-start but Spence continued to be a major threat as he flashed another shot over the Diamonds' goal and then hit the bar from a corner.
Jason Thomson turned a cross into his goal to give Airdrie the lead but the visitors equalised at the death as Spence converted Grant Anderson's cross.
