Re: The non-City fans. - Terrible thing, jealousy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ignorance is just as bad!!!!!!!!!!! Champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#208 Dream on, non/sense2! Have you visited east Manchester recently and noticed any developments near the ground? You could pick up an A-Z cheaply and take a peek...As for the owners - humane, highly educated, ambitious - we love 'em to bits. How are the Glazers doing, in your estimation?
With regard to the city manager the owners want to win everything and with what they have put in who can blame them The biggest treat for city fans is if the owner grows tired of his toy and pulls the plug. They would then be looking forward to local derbys against the likes of Bury and Rochdale.
@188 Is it "silly" to call United the richest post-war British club? I disagree; most people who follow football closely would think that was a perfect description of the club. Record breaking signings (too many to list) are just one valid indicator of United's wealth. There are many others.I do know about inflation! Fergie took 7 and 13 years to win the PL + CL.Sing with me "Mancini..."!
To all: Why cant we just get along....
If any City fan who believes that the owners dont want any payback on their investment are they are foolish.Mancini will be gone and pep maybe coming in but it took chelsea a lot of time and money to win the CL and I I dont think the people of Manchester will have the patience.Im a spurs fan and AFC aint won it AW lucky in that respect.one swallow dont make summer MCFC
Richards seems to think differently, and theres no way il ever believe mancini and tevez have kissed and made up, tevez will be there after mancini and he knows it. Dzecko doesnt seemt o be his biggest fan and lescott must be questioning his selection policy. all that said he's only warming the seat for another manager anyway, jose or pepe maybe who knows
If the players are not at odds with Mancini, I believe every thinking City fan should be. He showed lamentable man management skill with his handling of the Tevez affair, is constantly poor, unprepared with his tactics and has failed to produce the gap a £500 mill+ investment should give City over the rest. While he remains, City will never attain what the investment was put into the club for.
@199 Your comment saddens me it once again demonstrates why levels of academic acheivement are in such decline. I suppose United are also responsible for world hunger, hurricane Sandy and just about everything else wrong in the world? Grow up and act your age not your shoe size.
I have to agree with Kompany on this story, it's cheap journalism at it's best and similar stories will come out when many other clubs do not perform to their standards. Still I'm sure Mancini as well as the players know this is part and parcel of the British media.
