Yeovil 1-3 Stevenage

Stevenage moved into second place in the League One table with a convincing victory at Yeovil.

Filipe Morais put the visitors ahead after only three minutes when he turned home Greg Tansey's cross.

Yeovil levelled when Paddy Madden fired in but Stevenage sealed the game in the second half.

Lucas Akins clinically converted his sixth goal of the season and James Dunne's deflected drive made it 3-1 to move Stevenage into the top two.

Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson told BBC Somerset:

"We would never have had a better chance to beat a Stevenage team.

"I thought we outplayed them in the first half, but that's the inconsistency of this division and this team.

"We could have gone into Saturday's game looking at a play-off place, but life in football isn't like that.

"We've asked all the boys to take the video home and see why their game was so different in the second half."
