Stenhousemuir's Darren Smith struck late at Ochilview to earn his side a 1-1 draw with Ayr.
The visitors dominated possession in the opening stages and almost took the lead in the 14th minute, but Warriors 'keeper Robbie Thomson tipped Mark Roberts' 30-yard piledriver round the post.
Ayr continued to command the ball early in the second half and eventually went ahead on 68 minutes when Michael Moffat found the top left corner of Thomson's goal from 10 yards out after good work from Darian Mackinnon.
Stenhousemuir then began to hit back at their opponents in what became a very open game.
Smith eventually scored the dramatic equaliser in the 84th minute when Alistair Brown spilled John Gemmell's shot, leaving Smith free to tap in at the far post.
