Cheltenham's Sido Jombati is set to be sidelined for three weeks after undergoing a double hernia operation.
The Portugese defender missed Saturday's 4-2 defeat by Rotherham and the club confirmed he had undergone the surgery earlier in the week.
Jombati, 25, joined the Robins from non-league side Bath City in July 2011 for a nominal fee.
He has since become a regular in Mark Yates's side, making 64 appearances and scoring four goals.
