Corby Town have signed Cambridge United striker Liam Hughes in a one-month loan deal, but have released defender Pierrick Briand.
Hughes, 20, has played 13 times in a number of positions this season, including a stint in goal against Nuneaton in August.
Frenchman Briand leaves Steel Park four months after arriving at the club.
"Hughes will add a lot of bite to our attack," Corby boss Chris Plummer told BBC Radio Northampton.
"We've brought him in primarily as a centre forward."
