Crystal Palace defender Damien Delaney has extended his contract with the club, keeping him at Selhurst Park until the end of next season.

The 31-year-old has scored three goals in 14 appearances for the Eagles since joining on a short-term deal at the end of August.

The Republic of Ireland international was able to join Palace after leaving Ipswich by mutual consent this summer.

The former Cork City youth has also had spells at Leicester, Hull and QPR.
