Highland League side Turriff held Morton to a draw in their first ever appearance in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
The First Division side dominated the opening stages of the game and had plenty of early chances.
The best of these fell to Peter Weatherson whose right-footed effort from 10 yards out struck the bar after 32 minutes.
But Turriff, who sit 14th in the Highland League, took the lead against the run of play in the 40th minute when Mark Simpson volleyed past Derek Gaston from 12 yards.
But the minnows' lead didn't last long. Morton equalised in the 45th minute when Weatherson found the bottom left of Stephen Coutts' goal from the centre of the area.
Both teams were reduced to 10 men in the 88th minute when Morton's Craig Reid and Turriff's Cammy Bowden were dismissed for violent conduct.
