Chris Holroyd scored a dramatic last-minute winner as Macclesfield came from 2-0 down to beat Hyde.
Alex Brown's slotted effort from inside the box and Phil Jevons's penalty, after Nat Brown fouled Scott Spencer, put the visitors in control.
Matthew Barnes-Homer's header closed the gap and Brown headed in Craig Braham-Barrett's cross to level.
Holroyd placed his winner into the bottom left corner to move the hosts to within three points of the play-offs.
Hyde had won their last match 7-0 against Woking on Saturday and Jevons's goal took his tally to five goals in two games but it was not enough for victory.
