Dagenham & Redbridge keeper Chris Lewington's heroics helped to earn his side a 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium.
Sam Williams scored the only goal of the game on 19 minutes, meeting Matt Saunders' right-wing cross to fire home a right-foot volley from 12 yards.
But Lewington had by then already made a brilliant triple save to deny Oliver Norburn and David Clarkson twice.
And he then made second-half saves from Tom Eaves and Joe Anyinsah.
The final whistle was greeted with loud jeers from the home fans, whose team slipped in the bottom two, while the Daggers climb to 14th - now 10 points clear of trouble.
