Elgin City missed the chance to go above Rangers at the top of the Third Division as they ended all square with north eastern rivals Peterhead.
The mid-table hosts went ahead midway through the first half through David Cox, but Stuart Leslie's ninth goal of the season on the hour ensured the points were shared.
The Blue Toon began well and Scott McLaughlin hit the post from 25-yards before Rory McAllister brought a fine save out of John Gibson.
They deservedly went ahead in the 23rd minute when Cox drilled a low effort in from the edge of the area.
Elgin immediately piled on the pressure in search of an equaliser and Leslie twice headed off target before half-time.
The second period followed a similar pattern and Ross Jack's side finally levelled in the 60th minute when Leslie converted Daniel Moore's cross.
Leslie had a chance to win it as in the final 15 minutes but he was denied by a brilliant save from Graeme Sharp.
