Peterhead ended their three-match winless run with a home victory against Annan Athletic.
Galabankies goalkeeper Alex Mitchell needed to be alert after 16 minutes to beat away Steven Noble's goal-bound effort.
Scott McLaughlin had sight of goal seven minutes later, but was unable to hit the target with a curling strike from the edge of the area.
Nine minutes into the second half, David Cox ballooned over from close range before Rory McAllister forced home James Redman's cross to break the deadlock.
The former Brechin man was inches away from his ninth goal of the season, hitting the post from six yards in the 79th minute.
But the Blue Toon secured victory five minutes later when Martin Bavidge found the top corner to condemn the visitors to their fourth successive defeat.
