Oxford United have cancelled their annual Christmas parties to concentrate on a hectic festive fixture schedule.
The U's have four matches before the new year starting with Tuesday's rearranged FA Cup replay against Accrington at the Kassam Stadium.
And boss Chris Wilder is determined his side seize their chance to reach the third round and play Sheffield United.
"The boys have cancelled their Christmas party because we have to be professional," Wilder told BBC Oxford.
The U's are not the only side to have done away with their Christmas party with both QPR and Newcastle doing likewise in recent weeks. And Wilder revealed it is not just the players who will not be having a get-together.
"We have done that with our staff one as well," added Wilder.
"As everybody gets together at Christmas time we have got more important issues.
"The biggest issue is Tuesday and progressing, and making sure that the Saturday after Christmas we've got a game [in the FA Cup third round]."
