Bristol City's Championship match with Watford was postponed shortly before kick-off because of a waterlogged pitch at Ashton Gate.
The kick-off had been put back 15 minutes to 15:15 GMT to allow a further examination of the playing surface.
However, at 15:10 GMT referee Michael Naylor decided it would not be possible for the match to take place.
At the start of the day Bristol City were one place off the bottom of the table, while Watford were sixth.
