Rotherham 4-1 Accrington

Substitute Daniel Nardiello's brace sealed Rotherham's win over Accrington.

The Millers took the lead when Tom Eckersley headed past his own keeper from a Kari Arnason long throw.

Craig Lindfield equalised from Michael Liddle's cross, but Nardiello's header, after another Arnason long throw, put Rotherham back in front.

Nardiello converted Kieran Agard's cross for his second before Michael O'Connor scored from the corner of the box to make it four.

Rotherham manager Steve Evans told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"It was an important win and it was a big three points. We spoke about that before the game.

"I think for the first 15 minutes we were outstanding and played as well as we have played.

"If we had taken our chances we would have been 5-0 up after the 25-minute mark.

"If I'm honest I think the substitution (bringing on Nardiello) provided that spark."
