Wycombe 0-1 Exeter

Exeter moved to within two points of the play-off places as a late own goal by 17-year-old defender Kortney Hause handed them victory at Wycombe.

City were reduced to 10 men in the first half when Jamie Cureton was sent off for kicking out at Anthony Stewart.

Wycombe wasted a golden chance when Joel Grant was fouled, but could not beat Artur Krysiak from the spot.

And it cost them dear when the ball rolled in off Hause after keeper Jordan Archer blocked John O'Flynn's shot.

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon:

"It's a mad game - with the huge disappointment on Saturday of the 98th-minute equaliser against us and then today we feel great again.

"To do it with 10 men for over an hour was great.

"I believe Jamie Cureton kicked at him and if he did then he deserves his red card and I can't complain about it. If the officials see it and Jamie did that it was the correct decision.

"I think what stood out today was the nine outfield players who played an hour with a man down, they gave absolutely everything. I've never seen Alan Gow run as much as that, he was wonderful."
