Aberdeen: Uncertainty over Craig Brown's future 'not a concern'

Aberdeen midfielder Gavin Rae insists that speculation about veteran manager Craig Brown's future at the club is not causing problems on the park.
The Dons have lost four of their last five Scottish Premier League matches.
"That's between the chairman and the manager," said Rae about Brown's contract, which ends this summer.
"The players are not thinking about that at all. We are just trying to do our best for the club, our team-mates and the manager."
Brown himself said last week that he had no thoughts of retiring at the end of the season but was unconcerned that no contract had been agreed beyond the summer.
His injury-hit side looked to have turned the corner by beating St Johnstone at the weekend only to lose heavily to an impressive Motherwell side at Fir Park on Boxing Day.
While he thought his side were better than the final result suggested, Brown said the 4-1 scoreline was "unacceptable" for a club like Aberdeen.
Rae was similarly "gutted" at the result away to Well for the Pittodrie side who nevertheless remain fifth in the Scottish Premier League table.
"It's weird how we can play so well at the weekend and then not play so well here," suggested the 35-year-old former Scotland midfielder.
"But it was a game where there could have been lots of goals for both teams.
"It is just that we've conceded more than we have scored.
"The result is massively disappointing, especially after we started the game so well.
"We have missed unbelievable chances."
However, he excused forward Niall McGinn, who failed to add to add to his 12-goal tally for the season with a bad miss before Tom Hateley gave Well an early lead.
"Niall has been on fire for us and these things happen," said Rae.
