Queen of the South moved 11 points clear at the top of the table after a win at Stenhousemuir.
Stenhousemuir had held the nine-man Doonhamers to a draw in the reverse fixture but a repeat was never likely after Gavin Reilly netted his first just after the half-hour mark.
Daniel Orsi played the ball in towards Reilly and the striker struck a low effort into the corner from close range.
Reilly turned creator for the second as his pass found Nicholas Clark, who swept a low drive into the bottom corner from 12 yards.
Reilly scored his second of the contest with a simple finish into the corner after being released by Mark Durnan.
Stewart Kean netted a last-minute consolation for the home side with a close-range volley following a corner.
