Yes, he had to go. Didn't have the experience and record declining. Last year under his stewardship it was PL37, W10, D15, L12, a win rate of 27%. This year it is PL26, W5, D9, L12 a win rate of just 19%. Mistake to sack Peter Reid by that destroyer of football clubs Ridsdale. We need a new Tommy Tynan. Suggest target list of Brown, Warnock, Reid, Coyle or Cotterill. But thanks to Fletcher.

@ 68 I dont know about that. I did'nt even know what was going on with plymouth until I saw that. At least you had a manager that clearly cared. Not much use to your plight I know but my estimation of him went up after watching that, so that kind of flies in the face of what you were saying.
And our needs is someone with experience of winning Games & PromotionYou have just the man on your doorsept, he has great experience in the lower leagues and to my knowledge he's no older than Mr. Ferguson of the united. When he in charge Argyle god and many successes namely Dave SmithArgyle80
@63. What difference does it make which side of the tamar you're on when it comes to supporting Argyle? Plymouth is on the Cornish Border, so Argyle's catchment area would be as much Cornish as Devonian anyway.
@wazok (67)you chose your name well, very appropriate!Argyle wil always be a bigger club than Exeter regardless of League positions. So crow all you like, for time and history are against you!
totally agree with previous comments This guy has really tried but unfortunatly things have not gone his way and he is now out of work Hopefully he will enjoy some success in the future where ever that might be
I think it's poor form to show that video for everyone to see. The man is feeling low already!
Great start to 2013! Exeter City win, Plymouth loss and now without a manager!
Good passing football is ok if you are getting results. However when at the. Wrong end of Div 2 , a more direct approach is required with players playing for pride.Probably a bit dillsional but one can only hope.Always will be green
Watched the BR game with wonderfully away supporters.Have played football and supported PAFC for nearly 60 years. From a game point of view it was staggering to watch an out of touch CF Chadwick not be able to control a ball played to him or win a ball in the air, and yet the manager played the same way and did not replace him.Our overall ground playas good but not direct enough, we need a GS
As a Grecian can I just say how, despite the rivalry, I wish the GAWS luck sorting out the future of their club.Even if most of you guys are Cornish, rather than Devonian.
Too far for Billy D as he still lived in Scotland when in charge of NFFC and DC. SOD seems to be an East Midlands man so cannot see him travelling south and will not be desperate for a job with the pay off he got from NFFC.
Sad for Fletcher; he did his best in difficult circumstances. Warnock might do the business.
