Dunfermline defender Paddy Boyle extends Gateshead loan
Gateshead have extended the loan deal for defender Paddy Boyle from Scottish First Division club Dunfermline Athletic until the end of the season.
Glasgow-born Boyle, 25, in an initial six-month agreement and has since made 21 appearances.
"I am pleased to get the situation sorted out," said Boyle.
"I got off to a slow start but have got into my stride. I am enjoying my football and wanted to stay."
Prior to moving into the Scottish leagues, the left-back began his career at Everton, but left without making a senior appearance.
He then spent time at Dumbarton, Partick Thistle and then Dunfermline, and also earned Scotland Under-19 honours.
