Telford missed a chance to move out of the Blue Square Bet Premier relegation zone as their game with mid-table Alfreton ended in stalemate.
Josh Law and Danny Meadows had chances for the visitors inside the first three minutes, but were denied by Ryan Young.
Telford's best effort came from Steve Jones after the break when his left-foot shot hit the crossbar.
Theo Streete and Nathan Arnold wasted good openings for Alfreton but neither side could not find a way through.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire:
"I think we did enough to win the game, we had chance after chance. We are creating chances, but we need to be more ruthless in front of goal.
"We've drawn 14 games now and that just shows how competitive we are. We just haven't had enough to turn games in our favour but I am heartened by the performance today.
"We've had two clean sheets now and that elusive win keeps evading us. We need an extra bit of quality in the club and we'll get there."
"I heard of 60 people came down to get this game on - and I got out my sick bed to join them."
