Barrow are off the bottom of the Blue Square Bet Premier after a win over Newport County at Rodney Parade.
The game only went ahead after more than 120 home fans helped clear snow off the pitch on Saturday morning.
But there was little reward as Matthew Flynn tapped in Adam Boyes' to give Barrow a half-time lead.
County were then caught on the counter as Paul Rutherford and Sean McConville set up Danny Rowe, who fired high into the net from the edge of the box.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Newport County assistant manager Jimmy Dack told BBC Radio Wales:
"We should have performed a lot better and we're really disappointed. It's a tough league - there's no easy game in this league and we've always said that.
"But you've got to earn the right and we started the game with not the right attitude. I thought they deserved their win. They were better than us all over the park.
"We were really below par today. I felt we let everyone down and we let ourselves down. We need to be winning these games."
