'Small differences' boosting Exeter City - Paul Tisdale

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale says "small differences" have resulted in his team's current run of good form.

The Grecians have taken 10 points from the last 12, and secured a first home win against Southend on Saturday since

It was a victory that sent Tisdale's side into the top three in League Two for the first time since September.

"It's small differences over many weeks and months and you stick them all together," Tisdale told BBC Devon.

"We're trying to improve on the details, all the things that in isolation you don't pay much attention to.

"Hopefully we'll start to put results together after this very valuable win."

And the Exeter boss is hopeful that his side can use the victory as a springboard to help boost their home form.

City have the third-best away record in the league, but have won just four of their 14 home games.

"The players have to go out there and find a way of making it work," Tisdale said.

"They've been through some anxious times at home this season.

"We've not given the supporters much to cheer about, but [on Saturday] we did do," he added.
