@Merlin, really??? Bring back Harry? The tactically inept halfwit. Who would you have played up front? the injured Defoe or Adebayor, who is in Africa? Replace Lloris? (13 games 6 clean sheets 46%) Joe Hart (43%) or is he rubbish aswell? honestly, do your homework!
I agree with Sparrow - we need to win something - but how can you win if the manager doesn't respect the competition enough to select an out & out goalscorer? In my opinion we will never with anything with AVB as manager or Lloris in goal. We need a class manager, keeper and another top striker. How we sacked our best manager for 20 years I don't know. Bring back Harry!
Like in WestBrom-Villa (2:2): The best goals are scored 4 seconds after the final whistle. But don´t worry Leeds, the 3:1 goal is only saved for the Etihad...
Benoit is hilariously bad.
Mr. levy and his co-directors have to understand that while football is a business it is also a sport, and making money is fine, but winning something from time to time would be good as well. To do that, you have to invest in players, and good ones. So instead of spending lots of money on several crap players that will be sold at a loss, couldn't you just spend the money on one or two strikers?
When will the penny finally drop for AVB and Mr Levy, spurs are desperate for a couple of class strikers the stats show we create twice as many chances as our opponents but have nobody good enough to convert them.Be WARNED if you dont bring in someone this transfer window we will miss out again on champions league. Still like to know why Harry was sacked,??
Glory glory Leeds Uniteeeed
Tottenham fans - you can have Byram for 30 Mil.Should have been 3-1, ref was a spurs fan
84.myscarfaceIn exactly the same way as you explain Leeds beating Spurs and losing to clubs at the bottom of the championship a couple of weeks beforehand, its the FA cup, that's what football is all about, blaming defeats on resting players and not caring is an insult to the sport, its happened for years and long may it continue
It seems clear that when it comes to the FA Cup most premier league clubs just don't care anymore, it's a sideshow. How else do you explain Spurs dominating Man Utd one week with over 60% possession and being bullied by Leeds one week later. All prem clubs want from the FA Cup is to rest players and avoid injury. Very sad.
Anyway it cheers up a dreary Monday morning at least, back to earth with a bang away to sheep sha**ers on saturday.
This comment was removed because it broke the house rules. Explain
I'm not surprised we lost to be honest, when you don't play a striker your always going to struggle to score and we did.. Credit to Leeds though, played very well and took their opportunities well and deserved to win. Good luck to them at City
