St Mirren have signed striker Esmael Goncalves on loan from Portuguese club Rio Ave until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old, capped for Portugal under-17s, has been part of Rio Ave's good start to the Primeira Liga season.
Born in Guinea-Bassau, Goncalves spent time at French side Nice last year and might play against Celtic on Sunday, subject to international clearance.
The Buddies have also confirmed that has returned to Poland following a trial.
