@139 I think you'll find the 6 titles, Cham league and FA cups were before Sir Alex got rid!!!! La liga title he didn't play from Jan as he fell out with Capello! I think we'll forget any MLS tripe. Like I said he achieved very little after Sir Alex got rid! Alan Hansen has achieved more I don't hear people calling him a legend!
@284. James80 "He's a great role model for young players and kids alike, a much better role model than the fall down princesses like Ronaldo and Drogba !!!"You know nothing of Drogba obviously, he build a hospital in the Ivory Coast with solely his own money. He has his own charity to help the people of his country. With regards to the diving, he did cut that out of his game. Wasteman.
All the top lads on this thread saying Beckham will go where the money is, got any more insights? Any tips for the weekend would be fantastic... thnx
281. Blood drinker of the rainsYou're an idiot,I'm Scottish and even I can see that he was the only England player who ever tried when he came onto the pitch.To say he wasn't great is utter tripe! He's a great role model for young players and kids alike, a much better role model than the fall down princesses like Ronaldo and Drogba !!!
Good news for Beckham, can't see him ever playing in the Premier League again though. He's an old school wide man and a dying breed.http://sackedinthemorning.com/world/213-beckham-where-to-next
You may not like Beckham, you may think he is over the hill, and you may never have rated him in the first place? But you can never slag him off as a role model for professional football players. He has only ever given 100%. He trains hard and keeps himself in shape. He is a great ambassador for the game, plays for the love of the game, no playacting! Wish there were more like Beckham in the EPL!
I love people trying to sound like PR gurus. Terms like "He played with passion" . "down to earth guy" or "would die for his country". Beckham was none of these. He lead the fools golden generation, and that was all he did. He won most appearances in a poor international team. So what.You people live in a manufactured fantasy universe where the likes of the Beckhams or this world fit in well
David Beckham.Did not score for England,against top ten teams. From open play, from free-kick's. and only one penalty in all of his 115 games.It has been said that our present prime-minister and Norman Lamont. Lost 17 million£'s with out going near a betting shop.David. Managed A record 2 red card's, and record 21 yellow card's, with out going near a tackle.
If he were a European these Beckham lovers would spit bile at him. So he`s at Arsenal now. Funny I thought they were skint, so begs the question why someone only motivated by money is there.
OMG. Is the "Beckham was a average player" bandwagon still rolling???This country really is filled with imbeciles.
With Brooklyn signing for Chelsea surely the Beckham's near future is in England. I just wonder what Beckham can still offer on the pitch and where he fits in the Premier League these days. http://sackedinthemorning.com/world/213-beckham-where-to-next
@272 - well said.@275 - spot on.@266 - I imagine he has achieved a hell of a lot more than you - loser.@269 - pathetic comment.If only all footballers behaved and acted as well as DB our game would be in a far better place than the gutter where it presently lies.
All these people knocking Beckham... jealousy perhaps!
@266 but neither have Arsenal so he could fit in perfect
@269 - Why?
Trains hard, plays with great passion, intensity, and skill - a genuinely positive and likable person, admired the world over - except for some here... David Beckham's brand is "Brand England", and he does tremendous credit to his country... even managing to cancel out the bile spewing from the hordes of envious, dour, and whinging haters who emerge instantly at the mere mention of his name...
@269 yet uve read it and moaned about it. wrote more than most have. u must just grump about everything
