Wolves: Ronald Zubar to leave for French club AC Ajaccio

Ronald Zubar

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ronald Zubar has agreed to leave Molineux for French Ligue 1 side AC Ajaccio.

The 27-year-old joined Wolves from Marseille in 2009, scoring four goals in 69 appearances for the club.

But despite starting all three games under new boss Dean Saunders, Zubar, who is out of contract in the summer, is set be released early.

Wolves have also cancelled the contract of defender Steven Mouyokolo, 26, by mutual consent.

The Frenchman was restricted to only seven appearances for Wolves after signing from Hull in June 2010 because of injuries.

Zubar and Mouyokolo follow Richard Stearman, who joined Championship rivals Ipswich on loan until the end of the season, out of Molineux this week.
