Welsh Premier League

Saturday, 2 February:

Airbus UK Broughton 3-1 Afan Lido: Goals from Wayne Riley, Steve Tomassen and Phil Bolland secured victory for second placed Airbus over bottom side Afan Lido, who replied through Kieran Howard.

Bala Town 3-6 Gap Connah's Quay: Mike Hayes scored four goals as Gap Connah's Quay beat Bala to secure their place in the Welsh Premier's top six. But the Welsh Premier League have confirmed Connah's Quay will have a point deducted, subject to an appeal, for fielding an ineligible player earlier in the season which could have a bearing on the league positions ahead of next weekend's mid-season split.

Bangor City 2-2 Port Talbot Town: Bangor City moved up to third after being held at home by Port Talbot, who are fifth after securing a point at Nantporth. Chris Simm and Ashley Evans scored two goals each for their respective sides.

Carmarthen Town 4-2 Newtown: Luke Boundford gave the visitors a first half lead before Geoff Kellaway equalised only for Shane Sutton to restore Newtown's advantage. But Kellaway equalised for a second time before Christian Doidge scored two goals in the last 15 minuites to secure Carmarthen's victory.

The New Saints 3-0 Aberystwyth Town: Defending champions The New Saints maintained their seven point lead at the top of the Welsh Premier League with victory over struggling Aberystwyth at Park Hall. Alex Darlington struck twice in the first half and Kai Edwards a third in the second half.
