Blackpool caretaker manager Steve Thompson says the Tangerines rely too heavily on winger Thomas Ince.
The 21-year-old scored the equaliser in Saturday's 2-1 win against Millwall - his 17th goal of the season - before Nathan Delfouneso's late winner.
"We keep conceding, and we say before the games we can't keep conceding," Thompson told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"He [Ince] gets us going again. We can't keep relying on him but while he's doing it it's fantastic."
Blackpool, who have only lost twice when Ince has scored this campaign, have moved six points clear of the Championship drop zone thanks to Saturday's win.
But Thompson, who has been in charge at Bloomfield Road since Michael Appleton left to take over at Blackburn a month ago, feels the club should be more focused on challenging further up the table.
"We don't want to be looking over our shoulders with our players," Thompson said. "We've got to be positive and look forward.
"We can't rely on any results from anyone around us, it's what we do as a squad, and we need everyone of them."
