Ebbsfleet moved off the bottom of the Blue Square Bet Premier with a hard-fought win over Hereford.
Josh Scott scored from six yards for his third goal in as many games, as Liam Daish's side made it two wins from three to move above AFC Telford.
Keeper Preston Edwards twice denied Ryan Bowman inside the area for the visitors, whilst Joshua O'Keefe hit the post as the Bulls pushed for equaliser.
Hereford have now lost two of the last three games in the league.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent:
"It was a tough game for us, Hereford are in a good vein of form and are a decent side.
"We wanted to play at a high tempo, travel with the ball quickly and get good movement. It all came together today.
"I think we deserved it. The lads take confidence in keeping clean sheets. Being an ex-defender, if you get a couple of clean sheets and on a roll you start really believing.
"We need team performances. It's about results and getting the team doing their jobs. Players look better individually when everyone is playing well. It makes us competitive when we play like that and gives us a better chance of winning football matches."
