@554That is because for Arsenal now 4th spot is good enough. This attitude emanates from the board (£$£$) through to the manager ($£$£) and rubs off on the players (£$£$).
I think our players are not motivated to the same degree as ManU players. Even RVP who was superb for Arsenal last year, is even better this season. In most games Arsenal players seem lethargic. I am not sure if it is Wenger who fails to motivate players but Arsenal does need to wake up and smell the coffee because we the fans are fed up with excuses.
If my info is correct, RVP was told to gain 4 kilos in muscle power by the ManU fitness experts . It just makes you wonder what the heck is going on at AFC not turning their boys into men. It would account for Arsenal's players physical acumen and injury record.
The Arsenal women, I mean men sorry. Are very reliant on Wenger, without him they would turn into a Liverpool. Mid table fodder...
I am a big fan of Arsenal and Arsene Wenger. Despite loss, I think he is doing a great job. Without Arsene Wenger, you will probably see Arsenal at the bottom of the table.
It is shame for Wenger and for the club ......from this game I understand that Wenger never takes any lesson from his past mistakes and game. Still think that he is as good as 2004. For me I have doubt with his couching style. It is the right time to leave the club not by force but with his well.I am totally ashamed with a team performance.
It's an absolute disgrace Wenger did not prioritise this match. The sooner he goes the better. The sooner the Americans go the better. It's time for the fans to make a stand and boycott the Emirates.
The chances of winning the CL is much much smaller than the F.A. cup and coming in 4th place, so not to play your strongest team against Blackburn when we would almost certainly have won was just not on.
I think I read that ex-Arsenal players who have left the club since their last trophy in 2005, have since amassed a total of 53 medals with their respective clubs. That says it all really and is a sad truth for the owners to reflect upon.
the way things are going though, what with the ManU tie last week and other Cupsets, they may just sneak a surprise.Bayern are doing great in the League and cannot afford to give their rivals Dortmund a 3rd crown, CL not quite the priority for them , so, Roll onnn CL gameees!
Until the Americans leave our club, until we relieve Wenger of his duties we shall remain a 2 bit outfit competing under the banner of 'also rans'.I am truly ashamed to be a gooner.
@537 (et al)This shouldn't come as a surprise. Arsenal don't just treat the cup competitions as mickey mouse tournaments, they treat the PL like one too. The limit of their ambition is to finish fourth and qualify for a competition they have no hope of winning. The only thing Arsenal have succeeded at in the last 4 years is refining the art of embarrassing themselves.
Yea all walk, off to Chelsea, where you can see real players on mega bcks and legends get thrown away regardless to achivements or totts so you can see 1 and you can move futher backwards?I support Arsenal more for sticking with wenger, i want you all to burn your shirts on face book, or be cheap and ebay em, to proper fans that cant aford a ticket.Hope you like blue :)
wake up squad is poor no world class players walcott would be on bench at mu mc deluled fans when u miss cl stadium prices will rocket to pay bills give it up lololol
I have a big Arsenal mug, its filled with coffee.I get a new 1 every year just to reel in my fickle friends, yes we lost, never mind. my seat was comfy, the view is always amazingand they need the money, we dont. share the love gunners
