How could I forget the flop; Veron- £28.1million
@535Ferdinand- £34million, Rooney- £25.6million, Carrick- £18.6million, Nani- £22million, Berbatov- £30.5million, Anderson £20million, Van Nistelrooy- £19million... need I go on? Of course United didn't buy it, they earned it... you are talking absolute rubbish. The only thing plastic is your next trophy.
@535. Then as a Liverpool fan. Read about the Moores money. Where Liverpool were before the money dropped in their laps. As for the rags, Newton Heath bought by millionaires changed name to Manchester (theres a laugh ) united. This plastic goes to every game since the fifties. Probably been to Anfield more times than you.United = bought 3 times. You= sadly lacking in knowledge.
united didn't buy it - they earned it.I am a Liverpool fan you fantastic plastic. United = success. You = a porr WUM
@525. Again the joker. Read up on united 3 sugar daddies over a century. Bought. Liverpool. Moores money, Arsenal ? How did they get into the first div ? Ask Huddersfield. Spurs and Newcastle were spending big care of their owners before City. Its hard educating you. Then again as a united fan you havn't a clue about their history.
As for Newcastle... The Sports Direct Arena... very classy, also I've never met a classy person in quite a bit of debt so I don't see how United have class... 'The debt is under control' yeah maybe but you're still in debt... good of the Glazers to take 50% of anything you do make though. You criticise City for investment but want Qatari's to buy United for, what???... hypocrites
Liverpool have class... I don't think so, they have history not class. United fans should look at Liverpool as an example of how they'll probably end up when Fergie goes. Massive fanbase, great history; 8th in the table struggling for a Europa place... but it doesn't matter they have CLASS... football is a business, finance is everything. Ask the Glazers why they took a loan out on your club.
525 That only works if you ignore the fact that MU have been siphoning money from the stock exchange and small investors since the sixties. It took them comparatively longer to reach the 'success' stage because they didn't do it all in one go like CFC and MC, but they did it they same way, stocks and shares. So don't spout that rubbish about doing it the right way, they did it the same way!
Chelsea were pretty bad and Man City still aren't up to their standard of last season, but deserved the win I think. I feel sorry for Cahill; he had a superb game, but the rest of the team let him down.
Matt Duke League 2 Keeper League Cup Final, trips player stretching for the ball, Sent off, Joe Hart brings down player not booked, not having a go at Man City, but where is the consistency of Referees ? one of them must be wrong but which one ?
Mancini is living in a Dream World if he thinks that City will retain the title this season. That was gone beyond his grasp before Christmas. With 11 games left, and Utd 12 points clear (that 4 wins Roberto), second is the best you can hope for! You and Arsene Wenger must be looking into the same crystal ball. Time you cleaned it.
@526You made me laugh with your warped view. You can define class yourself.
@522ROOT for United??!! You have a good understanding of English football and it's history? How do you define class? Constant abuse of officials? Questionable personal relationships off the field and then being held up as role models? Before 1958 ManU were a mid table team with a history no greater than anyone else only when they became the darlings of the press did they attract interest + money
As much as every neutral fan hates United, they are self generated. City and Chelsea are not. Winning is exactly that but it is sweeter when it is not bought. As said previously, City have no class, along with Chelsea and the funniest thing is that it is craved so badly. It ca't be bought though.Liverpool have class. Arsenal do.United have it in abundance.Spurs + Newcastle have it.Work it out..

@513. davidmcr Good point...... Yaya in a more attacking role was a good & brave move by Mancini as if it had backfired against Chelsea he would have got slated for just playing one recognised striker at home. But whatever Mancini does he will receive little credit from other fans....but good to hear City fans chant his name at every match recently.
@521You know that United are self generated. The biggest attendances in the PL, don't over spend but are willing to invest 30m in a player that they will then employ for 10 years because they are the best team in the PL. City went from obscurity to Champions by no self generated means. They are so tragic I actually root for Utd now which was never the case previously. RVP 2 Utd bcos of class.
@516..I have more education in relation to football ?????????????? Then goes on to say that united earned their success. Your education is sadly lacking. Read up on uniteds many sugar daddies before pretending you know what you are talking about.
