Christopher Erskine's volley saw Partick Thistle extend their unbeaten run to five games with a narrow win over Airdrie United.
The best chance of a scrappy first half fell to Jags midfielder Erskine, whose long-range effort in the 38th minute did not trouble Robbie Thomson in Airdrie's goal.
The hosts almost went in front early in the second period when forward Kris Doolan's effort from 10 yards was parried to safety by Thomson.
Partick continued to push and eventually took the lead in the 76th minute when Erskine's superb 30-yard strike flew into the top corner.
Erskine tried his luck from a similar distance four minutes later but this time his effort was picked up by Thomson.
