Barrow secured an important victory over Tamworth to move out of the Blue Square Bet Premier relegation zone.
Danny Rowe broke the deadlock in the first half with a powerful right-footed free-kick.
The visitors' best chance fell to Tom Marshall, whose close-range header failed to beat goalkeeper Danny Hurst.
Hurst was on hand again to stop Danny Lloyd's long-range effort before Alex-Ray Harvey made sure of the win in stoppage time.
