Lack of quality cost Stoke - Pulis

Stoke boss Tony Pulis says his side created some good opportunities in their 1-0 defeat at Fulham, but lacked the quality to convert their chances into goals.

Dimitar Berbatov's volley at the end of the first half proved enough to give Fulham the victory, but Stoke missed the chance to equalise when Jonathan Walters saw his second-half penalty saved by Mark Schwarzer.

Walters also missed a spot-kick against Chelsea in January, but Pulis says the forward "wanted to take it,", and backed Walters to step up again to take Stoke's next penalty.
