Play-off chasers Forfar Athletic saw off struggling Stranraer despite finishing the match with 10 men.
Gavin Malin gave the hosts the lead with a 20-yard drive on 18 minutes.
Omar Kader swept home Gavin Swankie's delivery and then Chris Templeman tapped in Iain Campbell's cross as Forfar built up a 3-0 half-time lead.
Craig Malcolm knocked the ball past Darren Hill to pull a goal back for Stranraer and the home side had Michael Bolochoweckyj dismissed for a foul on Michael Moore 11 minutes from the end.
