Montrose came from behind at Hampden to beat Queen's Park and move to within two points of the Spiders.
Michael Keenan's strike gave the hosts a half-time advantage.
However, Leighton McIntosh's finish from six yards restored parity on 73 minutes and Martin Boyle soon gave the visitors the lead with a low shot.
Queen's Park, who are second in Division Three, still have two games in hand over Montrose.
