Dundee: John Brown confident his side can claw back points deficit

Dundee's interim manager John Brown believes his side have a fighting chance of climbing off the Scottish Premier League bottom spot.
The Dens Park outfit beat St Mirren for their fourth league win of the season.
"People say there's a mountain to climb but I know plenty people have climbed mountains," Brown told BBC Radio Scotland.
"We're no pushovers, we've shown that in recent games and we'll look forward to Inverness on Saturday."
And Brown added: "It gives us a fighting chance. What it does is, it gets teams above us thinking."
Saints' Conor Newton and Lewis Guy combined well to set up Dougie Imrie's goal on 20 minutes.
Guy and Sam Parkin almost extended the visitors lead but Rab Douglas denied them with excellent saves, meaning it was a narrow 1-0 lead for St Mirren at half-time.
After the break, a rejuvenated Dundee side struck twice to grab all three points.
John Baird who fired them level from 12 yards before Nicky Riley laid-off for Jim McAlister to steer past Craig Samson.
"A lot of people say a lot about big Rab [Douglas] - he's this, he's too old or he's that," Brown said.
"He made two world class saves there that kept us in it at half-time at 1-0.
"We were really poor in the first half.
"At half-time I just said 'there's no team that's actually wiped the floor with you so believe in yourselves and go out there and show it'.
"We had a fighting spirit in the second half and it kept going."
St Mirren manager Danny Lennon was left bemused at why his side did ended up with nothing after controlling the first-half.
"It was Jekyll-and-Hyde stuff from us," he said.
"The way we took our foot off the pedal is the most disappointing thing about this defeat.
"We got off to a dream start but never took it on and I didn't expect what happened to happen.
"It means getting into the top six now is going to be a very tall order."
