Sometimes in life, lessons are earned the hard way. This is whats in play at LR. I happen to believe Tony F and his partners are pretty smart guys despite the often negative critique of the "great unwashed". We are still a small club that needs to struggle a bit longer to get established as a BPL team including relegation. I take solace in the belief despite our challenges we are still QPR.
This is what happens when you buy good (and expensive) but unmotivated millionaire football players who will just move on in the summer. If QPR don't make it back up to the PL within 2-3 years at most I think Mr Fernandes and co will have had enough and go taking their money with them.........worrying times ahead I think for Rangers.
Why do owners run clubs as a business but don't seem to give two hoots about there customers...the fans. You mister owner might not be to worried about slipping from the top table but have you asked the fans how they feel, without them you wouldn't even have a club to toy with.
TheOracleObviously throwing money at a club to stay in the Premier League is a gamble. If it doesn't work, you risk putting the club in serious danger. As for Watford, they certainly are more stable as a club now, but I can't see their 'model' catching on with the powers that be. As a club they got lucky with the new owners. They'd be in administration if they'd stayed with the last owner
I would be interested to hear if people view this situation as a worse way to run a club than the current set up at Watford...?
What a load of tosh 108. Wigan and Fulham may have rich benefactors but there isn't one at Hull. It was a miracle that we got promoted from the Championship. It should be applauded. Not derided by someone stuck in 1982.
108.....Good grief. What's a traditional club? Accrington, Woolwich Arsenal or even the Royal Engineers AFC maybe. I think QPR are down. They should be alright though and once they get rid of the overpaid dross, they'll challange agaain for the Championship.
T.F. relegation wont ruin QPR,but Redknapp will ,as he as done at Southampton,Portsmouth ,Bournmouth, Spurs
the editor did a good job of finding an image of TF's face with a similar expression to the one that he must have on when he's examining the club's future finances
@ 108your comment is rubbish you obviously know nothing calling QPR a div 4 plastic team they have never been in div 4 infact they were a regular in the old div 1 before the prem was formed and even finished TOP LONDON club in the first ever season of the PREMIERE LEAGUE !!! under the great GERRY FRANCIS FINISHING 5TH
