SWPL: Glasgow City come back to win against Spartans
Glasgow City made it two wins out of two in the Scottish Women's Premier League by beating Spartans 3-1.
Kirsty McLaughlin put the hosts ahead in Edinburgh but City replied through Lisa Robertson, Ruesha Littlejohn and Suzanne Malone.
Aimee Ridgeway and Lisa Glennie netted as Aberdeen got their first points of the season with a 2-1 victory against rivals Buchan.
Forfar Farmington and Hamilton Accies shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.
Hutchison Vale came back from two goals down to defeat Falkirk 4-2 and now sit at the top of the SWPL, on goals scored.
Celtic v Kilwinning and Rangers v Hibernian were called off due to the cold weather.
Speaking after Glasgow City's victory, head coach Eddie Wolecki Black said: "I said to the team at half time that I was delighted Spartans scored as it shows them there are consequences for missing lots of chances, which we did in the opening half.
"However, our increased tempo in the second half and the level of performance was miles ahead of our first 45 minutes, and to be honest, we won the match in the first 15 minutes of the second period."
