Stirling Albion 1-0 Berwick Rangers

Mark Ferry scored a late winner as Stirling Albion dented Berwick Rangers' play-off hopes with a win at Forthbank Stadium.

The hosts went close to an early lead on 13 minutes but Marc McCallum's fine save denied Jordan White.

Berwick threatened through Dean Hoskins and Darren Lavery but neither could not find a way through.

Damian Gielty had their best chance of the first half but could only shoot straight at Samuel Filler just after the half-hour mark.

Scott Dalziel went closer still immediately after the restart but Filler again held firm to keep his effort out.

And, with the game seemingly heading for a stalemate, Albion winger Scott Davidson picked out Ferry who volleyed a clinical finish into the corner with three minutes remaining.

White could have added further gloss deep into stoppage time but failed to beat McCallum with a low drive.
