Oxford United: Jake Wright blames players for defeats

Oxford United captain Jake Wright believes the players, not manager Chris Wilder, who deserve the blame for poor recent performances.
Wilder was severely criticised by supporters on a BBC Oxford phone-in after Monday's 3-2 League Two defeat at bottom club Aldershot.
But Wright said: "Some of the players need to have a look at themselves.
"Stuff got said in the changing rooms, and it stays there, but we let the gaffer down. It's not good enough."
The U's have picked up just one point from their last four games, a run that has all but ended their chances of making it into the League Two play-offs.
Aldershot scored in the 87th minute to take all three points at the Recreation Ground and Wright made his anger plain after the match.
"We started really poorly, I don't really know how to explain it.
"Everyone has looked really good in training but they've come out to the game and not enough players have produced it, not enough wanted to win," the 27-year-old defender added.
"We're in League Two not in the Premiership, and the first thing you need to do is work really hard, and try and give your best for your team. Six or seven have done, but three or four haven't been good enough.
"As for conceding late on, we were going for the win, knowing a defeat is the same as a draw at this stage of the season. We just wanted the three points."
