Rory McAllister and James Redman each netted a brace as Peterhead beat East Stirlingshire to move up to third place in the Scottish Third Division.
McAllister opened the scoring in the third minute when his 18-yard strike found the bottom corner of Grant Hay's net.
Martin Bavidge drilled home from six yards in the 16th minute before Bavidge turned provider for Redman to fire in from the edge of the area a minute later.
Dean Cowie beat Hay from 20 yards out to make it four in the 39th minute before McAllister notched his second from the edge of the box quickly after, making it 5-0 heading into the break.
Peterhead started the second half as they finished the first. Ryan Strachan hit the crossbar from 22 yards before Redman bundled in from close range just before the hour mark to score the final goal on a miserable afternoon for the visitors.
